Specifically for 7 days: at a base price of €65, Park King P2 (Saver rate) is €43 below the cheapest official on-site rate, Economy Plus in airport car park P7 (€108), and €48 below the Economy rate of airport car parks P4–P6 (€113). The outdoor car park P10 is only available online, at around €72 depending on dates according to t-online (as of 22 July 2026) – around €7 more than the Park King P2 base price. Not every rate is cheaper: for 14 days, the official airport car park P7 costs €135 on site, whereas Park King P4 costs a base price of €176. So always compare the right rate.

What you should know about the official parking fees:
- Online is cheaper than on site: According to the airport, online prices are below the on-site rate. In a t-online example (as of 22 July 2026, still before the fees valid from 1 September 2026), a week in June 2027 was €13–24 cheaper online in P1, €9 cheaper in P3 and €6 cheaper in P7.
- Reserving with the airport: guaranteed space, no reservation fee, free cancellation or rebooking up to 12 hours before your parking starts.
- P10 is seasonal only: The outdoor car park P10 is open from 15 May to 1 November 2026; this option is not available in winter.
- Height limits: The car parks have a height limit of 2.00 to 2.10 m; only P10 has no height restriction.
- Reduced rate: The airport offers a discount for people with severe disabilities. Disabled parking spaces require the blue disabled parking card.

Short-term parking outside the terminal: rates for drop-off and pick-up
You can stop directly outside all terminals for up to 10 minutes free of charge. Entry is recorded digitally by automatic number plate recognition, and you pay afterwards at the pay machine. The free period applies to a maximum of 2 entries per calendar day; from the third entry, the minimum charge applies.

Example 1: Weekend trip from Friday to Sunday
Friday to Sunday is 3 calendar days. At Park King, that costs from a base price of €52 on the P4 Saver rate; with free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival (P1 Flexible), from €59.
Example 2: A week in Mallorca, Saturday to Saturday
Because the arrival and departure days both count, that makes 8 days: from a base price of €73 on the Park King P2 Saver rate. As your arrival falls on a weekend, the final price may be higher. For comparison: 8 days on site without a reservation cost €114 on the airport’s official Economy Plus rate (airport car park P7) and €119 on the official Economy rate (airport car parks P4–P6), according to the airport’s parking fees valid from 1 September 2026.
Example 3: Family of 4, 7 days
On the P2 Saver rate, the week costs from €65, plus 2 additional people at €7.50 each when booked online – from €80 in total. With Valet Parking (from €249), up to 8 people travel at no extra charge, and you hand over your car right outside the departure hall.
Example 4: Two weeks in the Canary Islands with the Worry-Free Package

Vans, minibuses and motorhomes
In the official car parks, the height limit is 2.00 to 2.10 m, and the outdoor car park P10, which has no height restriction, is only available seasonally and with a reservation. At Park King, a large-vehicle surcharge applies:
- November to March: flat rate of €39.99
- April to October: a surcharge equal to the parking price – so the parking price doubles
Worked example based on the base price: a van on the P2 Saver rate for 7 days costs from €65 + €39.99 = €104.99 in November, and from €130 (double the base price) from April to October.
Paying for parking at Hannover Airport: cash, card or PayPal?
Official car parks: Cash is no longer accepted in the airport’s car parks – you pay by debit card (EC/girocard) or credit card. Online reservations with the airport are paid by credit card or PayPal. For short-term parking outside the terminals, entry is recorded by number plate recognition and you pay afterwards at the pay machine; according to the airport, only one machine at each location still accepts coins.
